As a full-time school, we offer many different programs (Basic, SWAT, Black Belt Club, etc.) for our students to choose from. Each program has it's own tuition "package" that can be paid in a few different ways. So as not to sound confusing in this general FAQ section, we will be happy to show you each program and pricing options when you visit. All you need to do is schedule an appointment for a FREE Orientation and we will give you all the information.
What Ages Do You Teach?
We have program for students as young as 4 and our eldest student is 70. You are never too young or too old for the life-changing benefits of martial arts. Each program is designed for that specific age, allowing for the youngest student to grasp the curriculum, and for the middle-aged parent who hasn't worked out in years to be able to "hang in there."
What Style of Martial Art Do You Teach?
For most people, the style is irrelevant because they don't really understand the difference in styles. For those who do understand or are curious, we teach a blended system. What that means is that we teach a curriculum that is based on a few different styles. Don't confuse that with the modern trend of "MMA" - Mixed Martial Arts. Although technically we teach a "mixed" martial art, it does not refer to the "cage fighting" that is now a popular sport.
With that said, our curriculum is based on Kenpo and Kickboxing, with elements of other styles in there as well (Tae Kwon Do, Escrima and other weapons, etc.). We also have a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program and Muay Thai program. Furthermore, each age group has its own curriculum, designed for that specific age group (similar to an academic school). If you would like further clarification or details, we are happy to explain them to you!
What Time Are Your Classes?
We are a full-time school and therefore have several classes for everyone to choose from. The class times will depend on your rank and age, and we are happy to show you the class schedule when you visit.
