Teen & Adult Program (ages 13 and up)

Our teen & adult program involves students ages 13 and up. This program is designed specifically for this age group. This is where we put their physical and mental attributes to the test. By teaching sound self-defense, with a great physical workout, our students come out of class feeling confident and empowered! Not only will you be able to walk down the street with your head held high, but you'll have more energy to deal with day to day life. Each class is filled with fun and exciting drills and curriculum that will help you work off some of that everyday stress.

Contemporary Approach to Training

Our program is unique in its approach. For one, we teach the class in an age-appropriate manner–we treat you like the teens and adults that you are. If you make a mistake, we don’t punish you...we simply teach you how to do it correctly. Mistakes are how we learn, and we don’t want anyone afraid to try something out of fear of making a mistake. We do NOT teach in a militaristic manner. After all, who wants to be yelled and screamed at after a hard day of work? You’re here to learn, not become more stressed.

Secondly, we teach a blended curriculum. What this means is that we don’t teach just one style. We teach a contemporary, functional martial arts program. Sure, if you want to learn the flashy stuff, we’ll teach you, but it’s not required. Our curriculum is designed for the 13 year old and the 73 year old. We have men and women of all ages in our school. Whether you’re an active athlete or haven’t worked out in 20 years, it’s ok. You train at your own pace and progress according to your time frame and goals.

It's Fun!

Our classes are a fun, realistic approach to modern martial arts. It encompasses different elements of stand up martial arts (punching, kicking, blocking, evasion skills, footwork, clinch, takedowns, throws, etc.). This offers a well-rounded curriculum that anyone can learn.

What’s even better is how it’s going to help you feel emotionally and mentally. There’s nothing more powerful than getting in good shape. Add to that the confidence you’ll gain from learning how to defend yourself and you can’t lose! And everything is taught in a fun and safe manner.
